John M. Hofmann, D.C.

Just minutes after I was born I received my very first chiropractic adjustment!

I was born at home.

The adjustment was given by my father, also a chiropractor.  This was done to make sure that no problems occurred during the delivery and my nervous system and spine were working properly.

John M. Hofmann, D.C.

All through my childhood my sister Wende, who is also a chiropractor and married to a chiropractor, and I regularly received adjustments to keep us healthy.  Many of my friends on the football teams I played on also had chiropractic care.  In fact several are now Doctors of Chiropractic themselves.

From my earliest years I wanted to be a chiropractor.

The many miracles I’ve witnessed through chiropractic and its benefits to our patients have assured me that I made the right choice.  During the course of a typical day it is usual for me to adjust patients from over eighty years old to little babies.

My lovely wife is named April and we have a beautiful young daughter, Ellie Grace.  By the way, I also adjusted her right after she was born.  Neither Ellie nor I have ever been vaccinated. (If you find that interesting, be sure to ask me to explain it).

The Riverview school system provided my grammar and high school education.

I received both a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Post-graduate courses in nutrition and chiropractic techniques, among others  help keep my “free hours” busy.

Now you know a little about me, HOW ABOUT YOU?  What can I help you with?  What health challenge are you facing?  Chiropractic is what I do. And that means helping people regain their health.

Please give us a call, find out how we can help you take your first step toward a better life.

John Asks some important questions of interest to Allen Park residents - Chiropractor Allen Park John Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Allen Park folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
